This October we
are commemorating 100 years since women in the UK won the right to vote
in parliamentary elections, thereby gaining a voice where before they had been
forced into silence.
We also take the opportunity
to celebrate the black women who have changed history by campaigning for
women’s rights in politics, art, literature, music, medicine...the list is
endless.
Celebrate with us, and
appreciate the sacrifice and contributions that have been made to enrich and
improve our world.
